'WTH' Moment of the Week

2:52 PM

Kevin Gates, no matter how you try to justify it - which you did...poorly - this was rude. I don't know how DJ Traci Steele, and honestly a host of other journalists do it - how they tolerate open, public displays of blatant disrespect. The attitude didn't come from Traci touching his arm, it was there from the beginning written alllllll over his face, no matter what he says, you could tell he didn't want to be there. Now, I don't claim to know the working history of Traci and Kevin's relationship (and to be honest, I don't really care to know), but what I do know is that shortly after receiving tons of heat for this awkward interview, Kevin took to his social media that he supposedly doesn't care about to explain:

My dog asked me why, when that girl touched you, you wiped your shoulder off? First of all, I'm married, second of all, I'm holy. Don't put your dirty ass hands on me!
O...kay. Look, as far as being married goes, I wouldn't think a simple pat on the shoulder is enough to cause your significant other to flip out, but I don't know the dynamics of his and his wife's relationship. As for the religion part, a quick Google search taught me that, yes hygiene is supremely important in the Islamic faith. There is large importance in ritualistic washing in order to perform prayer, keeping the body, clothing and environment clean and ridding the body of dirt or grime, HOWEVER, this is the same man who routinely swears, bears host to several tattoos and does, in fact, partake in skin to skin contact with several people (as can be found on his Instagram). At the end of the day, this interview was awkward and annoying enough to garner the WTH Moment of the Week.
