An Open Letter To: Justin Bieber

12:13 AM

*heavy sigh* Oh, Justin what are we going to do with you?

Hey, Justin!

What's up, bud? You've, ahem, been kind of on a downward spiral, dude, what's going on? Listen, don't let my concern fool you, now, this is just the calm before the storm. What on God's green Earth would cause you to drive under the influence?! Heavily intoxicated or not, that is in no way, shape, or form okay. WHYYYY are you (allegedly) hot boxing in a plane? That has to be the dumbest thing I've ever heard in my life. Listen, I know life isn't as easy for someone of your celebrity, what with millions of people scrutinizing and criticizing your every move, but this (openly) rebellious streak of yours needs to be tuned down several notches. Duh, everyone likes to experiment with drugs, hell, the President of the United States used to be a pothead, *cough*. However, my main issue is not with your ingestion of copious amounts of drugs and alcohol, it is with your lack of accountability for your actions, and, in correlation, your influence.

For the most part, your fan base consists of young, impressionable girls who lift you to Godlike status, believe you can do no wrong. But, the problem is, you have done wrong, and they don't think so, so when they hear about your 'misguided teenage mishaps', rather than acknowledge your faults they, instead, defend you to Hell and back. And that is NOT okay.

We are all taught at a young age that our actions impact every aspect of our lives. Because you do not want to take outright responsibility for your actions, your fans will not see the importance of accountability, which means that they'll keep letting your shit slide because they 'lOOOve you'.

You want to be treated like a big boy, act like one first.

Signed,
Simone of The Girls' Room
